We were thrilled that Anna Mudeka agreed to be the speaker at our September meeting. Anna talked about her early life in Zimbabwe and her roles of musician, teacher and organisr of the charitiable initiative, the Anna Mudeka Foundation. A special treat for us was when Anna performed a song entitled ‘If I were a boy’ (English translation) and played a traditional African thumb piano, called an mbira.
